Callum Beck is no ordinary leader; he has 25 years of exposure to autism spectrum disorder and 11 years of understanding Down Syndrome. That is why he can easily connect with people with special needs and create a positive environment for them. Not just that! Detecting discomforts in disabled persons early and maximising their progress and development through friendly ventures without breaching their comfort and creating a sensory overload; it’s a true knack that Callum possesses. His stint with the Australian Defence Force helped him understand the importance of mentoring individuals who didn’t “fit the mould”, as each of us brings unique gifts and abilities. Even now, he has taken responsibility for evoking the dreams of people living with a disability through carefully designed activities. Without a doubt, Callum is an extraordinary leader with strong mentorship qualities.
